Lab-Volt Electric Power/ Controls Training

Lab-Volt’s Electric Power/ Controls program emphasizes hands-on experience with the internal construction, physical workings, and operation of electrical machines. Starting with basic principles of electricity and magnetism, students practice with actual AC/DC power circuits, rotating machines and other electromechanical devices, and gain valuable experience with real electrical power equipment. The study of advanced power control and protection systems, and modern solid-state power electronics devices are introduced in the same hands-on manner.
